This Bensalem couple had a corner lot with plenty of room and an above ground pool sitting in the middle of it. The space was there. What was missing was any reason to spend time in it.
Bill and Denise came to Hydroscape because the reviews lined up with what they wanted, and because they were after one company for the whole backyard rather than a pool in one phase and a landscape in another.
That is where Hydroscape Pools stepped in. The above ground pool came out, and the lot was rebuilt as a single outdoor living space over six weeks.
The project included:
- Installation of an Imagine Pools Brilliant 40, a 40-foot fiberglass pool
- Approximately 1,800 square feet of pool decking
- A 16′ x 10′ pavilion for shaded seating and dining
- Custom double waterfalls and a pool slide
- A 54-inch aluminum safety fence
- A full Pentair equipment package
- Complete landscape installation with planned plantings, hardscaping and integrated landscape lighting
The backyard now reads as a destination rather than a yard with a pool in it. Eighteen hundred square feet of decking gives the pool room to breathe, the pavilion means there is shade and a table without going back inside, and the boulder water feature carries sound across the whole space. The integrated lighting keeps the yard working after dark, which on a corner lot is the difference between a pool you use in July and a backyard you use all season.
The above ground pool it replaced did none of that. It occupied the yard without ever really giving the family a reason to be out there.
If you are looking at a corner lot, an aging above ground pool or simply more yard than you currently use, this is what a full-scale build looks like when one company runs the pool, the hardscape and the landscape together.
