The goal for this Richboro backyard was simple: a pool the family would actually use, set into a space that feels finished. Not a pool dropped into the lawn, but a backyard where the water, the deck and the seating all work together.
Hydroscape Pools walked them through the fiberglass options and settled on the
River Pools A30 fiberglass pool, a clean rectangle with built-in entry steps that suits the shape of the yard. From there our team ran the whole job in four weeks: the dig and pool set, the decking, the equipment and the safety cover.
The project included:
- Installation of a River Pools A30 fiberglass pool
- Custom stamped concrete pool decking
- A Pentair equipment package for efficient circulation and filtration
- A Coverstar automatic safety cover
- Completed in four weeks
- Project investment: $115,000 to $125,000
The finished yard pairs a bright fiberglass shell with a gray stamped concrete deck that runs from the pool edge to the patio, framed by a river rock border along the white fence. The lounge seating and fire pit sit a few steps from the water, so the pool feels like part of the outdoor living space rather than something off on its own. The Pentair system keeps the water clear with very little effort, and the Coverstar cover closes the pool at the touch of a button, which matters for safety and keeps leaves and debris out between swims.
Without a plan that covers the deck, the equipment and the cover as well as the pool itself, a backyard pool can turn into one more thing to look after instead of the place everyone gathers.
