Latham is the largest manufacturer of fiberglass pools in North America, and for a homeowner that mostly means choice. Where a smaller factory offers a dozen shells, Latham offers more than thirty models, most of them in two or three lengths, so a rectangle can be a 12, a 14 or a 16 and a freeform can be sized to the yard rather than forced into it. Hydroscape Pools is an authorized Latham dealer and installs Latham shells throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Northern Virginia.

Every Latham shell is built with the company’s Crystite gel coat finish over a vinyl ester resin barrier layer and carbon and aramid fiber reinforcement, and it carries a limited lifetime structural warranty. That is the part you cannot see once the pool is in the ground, and it is why we are comfortable putting our name on a Latham install.

Latham Rectangles

The rectangles are where Latham is deepest. The models we install most:

  • Axiom (12, 14, 16 and Deluxe versions): a modern rectangle with a full-width bench and optional tanning ledge.
  • Corinthian (12, 14, 16): a classic straight-sided rectangle with steps in the shallow end.
  • Olympia (12, 14, 16): a deeper rectangle popular for lap swimming and diving-depth families.
  • Bermuda (12 up to 16 by 40, Deluxe versions): roman-end styling with wide entry steps.
  • Cape Cod, Cayman, Astoria, Tuscan, Athens, San Marino, Apollo, Ariel and Providence round out the range from 11-foot to 40-foot lengths.

Rectangles pair naturally with an automatic safety cover, which is the single upgrade we recommend most in this climate.

Latham Freeforms and Plunge Pools

Latham’s freeform range is broad: Aruba, Barcelona, Bay Isle, Claremont, Coronado, Delray, Fiji, Jamaica (10, 12 and 14), Key West, Kingston, Lake Shore, Monaco, Pleasant Cove, Sirius, St. Thomas, Synergy, Synergy Grand and Vista Isle. The Synergy models are the ones families ask for by name: a lagoon shape with a big shallow lounging area and a deep end that still swims.

For smaller yards, the Milan (8 by 14 up to 10 by 20) and Enchantment (9 by 17 up to 9 by 24) plunge pools give you a real pool where a full-size shell would not fit.

How We Install a Latham Shell

The shell arrives on a truck and goes in by crane in a single day, but the week around that day is the job. We survey and stake the pool, dig to the shell’s exact profile, set a compacted gravel base with a laser level, crane the shell, plumb the returns, skimmer and any spa or water feature, then backfill in lifts while the pool fills so the shell is supported evenly on every side. Equipment, electrical, fencing and the patio follow. We handle all of it under one contract.

Hydroscape Pools is an authorized dealer and installer for Latham fiberglass pools. We also install River Pools, Imagine Pools and Glimmerglass, so if a Latham shape is not quite right we can show you the alternative from another line.

Proudly Providing Services Throughout the Mid-Atlantic United States

From building a brand-new pool to keeping an older one in great shape, we offer a full range of pool and outdoor living services across the Mid-Atlantic. One team handles all of it, start to finish.
Custom inground pools built in fiberglass or concrete, designed around your yard and how your family wants to use it. We handle the design, the permits, and the full build with our own crew.
Inground spas, spillover spas built right into your pool, and standalone hot tubs, with the jets, heating, and controls to match.
Is your older pool looking tired? We handle resurfacing, new tile and coping, deck updates, and equipment upgrades to bring it back to life.
Gas heat to stretch your season into April and October, or a heat pump to hold temperature through the summer for less money to run. We install Pentair, and we run the gas line and the electrical ourselves.
Pentair IntelliCenter, standard on every pool and spa combination we build. Start the spa, run the lights and check the pump from your phone instead of walking out to the pad in the dark.
Natural stone waterfalls and waterfall and slide combinations from Advanced Waterfall Systems, plus spillover spas and bubblers on a tanning ledge.
Coverstar automatic safety covers, built to meet ASTM F1346. One button closes the pool, which is the whole reason an automatic cover actually gets used.
Pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, and automation. We diagnose, repair, and replace the equipment that keeps your pool running right.
Keep your pool clean, balanced, and ready to swim, with regular care plus seasonal openings and closings handled by our own team.
Patios, walkways, plantings, and complete outdoor living areas that turn the space around your pool into a backyard you actually want to spend time in.

Built-in grills, bars, countertops, and full outdoor kitchens, with the gas and electrical handled in-house.

Pergolas, pavilions, and shade structures that keep your patio and pool comfortable all summer.

Patios, pool decks, walkways, retaining walls, and fire features, built to last.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you an authorized Latham dealer?

Yes. Hydroscape Pools is an authorized Latham fiberglass pool dealer and installer serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Northern Virginia. Latham sells through its independent builder network rather than directly, so the dealer you choose is the company that designs, installs and warranties the work.

It depends on the model, the size and everything around it: excavation, patio, equipment, heater, cover and fencing usually add up to more than the shell itself. We quote the complete installed project, not the shell. Our pricing page shows typical ranges and the estimator on this page gives you a number for your project in a few minutes.

Latham shells come in a range of Crystite finishes from light blues through deep blues and grays. We bring the current color samples to the design meeting because the same color reads differently in sun and in shade at depth.

Most Latham installs are swim-ready within a few weeks of the dig, weather permitting, with the shell itself set in a single day. Patio, fencing and landscaping run on their own schedule after the pool is in.

Several Latham models include a tanning ledge, and Deluxe versions add benches and ledges. Spas are typically a separate fiberglass spa shell set beside the pool and plumbed to spill over. We design both in from the start so the plumbing and equipment are sized correctly.
