How Can We Help?

You might be replacing a tired liner pool in Levittown, adding a pool to a newer lot in Doylestown, or starting from bare lawn in Newtown. We design the pool and the yard around it as one plan, then our own crew builds both.

We design and build inground pools, four fiberglass pool brands we install and BaduJet swim jet.

Why Us?

Hydroscape started in 2003 as a hardscape and landscape company and has built fiberglass pools since 2015. The owner is on site for every job, and we hold Pennsylvania contractor registration PA046915. All six of the finished projects on our project gallery are in Bucks County.

Fiberglass and Concrete Pools

A Pool Built for the Way You Actually Use Your Backyard

Ground conditions change across the county. Much of central and upper Bucks sits on the red shale and argillite of the Newark Basin, which can turn up hard rock a few feet down, while lower Bucks toward Bensalem and Morrisville is sandier soil near the river. We look at the lot before quoting so the excavation plan matches what is actually under the grass.

Fiberglass makes sense for most Bucks yards: a one-piece shell in a few days, nothing to resurface later, and sizes up to about 40 feet. Above that, or for a fully custom shape, we build concrete. We are an authorized dealer for River Pools, Imagine Pools, Latham and Glimmerglass, and every build gets a Pentair equipment package.

Patios, Pavilions and Outdoor Living

Your Backyard Is Where Real Life Happens

Freeze-thaw winters are hard on poorly built patios, so we set pavers on a compacted base sized for frost heave. We are certified with E.P. Henry and Techo-Bloc, and the same crew that sets the pool builds the decking, walls and pavilions around it.

Openings, Closings and Upkeep

Keeping Your Pool Easy to Own

Bucks pool season usually runs from about Memorial Day into September. We open in spring, close before hard freezes, and check equipment both times, which matters more here than in warmer states because frozen lines are the most common winter damage.

We take care of the regular upkeep and the seasonal work, openings, closings, and equipment checks, so there are no surprises and nothing falls through the cracks. You always know exactly who’s looking after your pool, because it’s us.
Your pool is where a lot of family memories get made, and it’s worth protecting. We show up when we say we will and keep your pool in the kind of shape that makes you glad you built it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a permit for a pool in Bucks County?

Yes. Pools are permitted by your township or borough under the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code, often through the third-party inspection agency your municipality uses. We prepare the drawings and pull the building, electrical and zoning approvals for you.

Pennsylvania’s code requires a barrier around a residential pool, generally at least 48 inches high, with self-closing, self-latching gates. Some townships add their own rules, so we confirm yours before the fence goes in. Our Bensalem project used a 54-inch aluminum fence.

Up county it is often shale and rock; near the Delaware River it can be sandy with a higher water table, and towns like Yardley and New Hope have mapped floodplains that need extra review. We file the 811 utility locate ourselves before any digging, so buried gas, electric and water lines are marked first.

Our pricing page lists the ranges: a fiberglass pool from 20 to 40 feet usually lands around $60,000 to $90,000 for the pool itself, and a 20-foot custom concrete pool starts around $80,000 to $85,000. Decking, fencing and landscape are priced on top, and Financing Available through Lyon Financial.

All of it. We have finished projects in Newtown, Yardley, Washington Crossing, New Hope and Bensalem, and we also build in Doylestown, Langhorne, Levittown, Richboro, Warminster, Warrington and the rest of the county.
